  • Clients can authorize the debit of their Demat account using any of the following methods:
    1. Power of Attorney (POA): The client grants a POA to a third party (like a broker) to manage transactions on their behalf.
    2. Delivery Instruction Slip (DIS): A physical slip submitted to the Depository Participant (DP) for authorizing a debit.
    3. Electronic Instruction Platforms of Depository (easiest): CDSL offers a platform called easiest, accessible via the CDSL website or the Myeasi mobile app. This allows clients or their POA holders to give electronic instructions anytime, anywhere.
    4. Electronic Instruction Platforms of Stock Brokers/Depository Participants (eDIS): Clients can also submit electronic instructions through platforms provided by their stock brokers or DPs via CDSL.These electronic platforms provide a convenient, secure, and paperless way for clients to authorize debits from their Demat accounts.
