Is Margin Benefit Available Against Pledging of Securities on a Settlement Holiday? 

No. Margin benefit against the pledging of approved securities is not available on a settlement holiday. If securities are successfully pledged on a settlement holiday, the collateral margin will be credited to the Jainam account on the next trading day. 

Example: If Thursday is a settlement holiday and approved securities are pledged for margin on Thursday, the collateral margin will be credited on the next trading day, Friday.
