When are shares allotted under a Rights Issue? 

Yes. An application for additional shares may be permitted under the issue terms. However, allotment of additional shares is not guaranteed and depends on the issue’s allotment provisions, availability of unsubscribed shares and applicable regulatory requirements.  

Shares are allotted after the issue closes and the application and allotment process is completed in accordance with the announced schedule. The allotment date and expected demat credit date are specified in the issue-related announcements and offer documents.
