What is CDSL Easi?
CDSL Easi (Electronic Access to Securities Information) is an online portal by Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL). It allows investors to view and manage their demat accounts, track holdings, monitor transactions, and access account statements in real-time. What is CDSL Easiest?
CDSL Easiest (Electronic Access to Securities Information and Execution of Secured Transactions) is improvised version of CDSL Easi.Clearing Members and Beneficial Owners can submit off-market, on-market, and inter-depository debit instructions from their Demat accounts. Users also get access to all features of CDSL Easi, with the convenience of managing transactions online anytime, anywhere. It can be used to transfer securities between Demat accounts seamlessly. What are the different types of accounts available on CDSL easiest?
There are two types of account transfers available on easiest i.e. Trusted Account Transfer and Account of Choice Transfer.To know more about, see What is the differences between the Trusted Account and the Account of Choice?
Can a Beneficial Owner (BO) deregister from their easiest login?
Yes, the BO can deregister using the “deregister” option available during the login process. The Depository Participant (DP) must authenticate this deregistration. Once the DP authenticates the deregistration request, the login ID will be deactivated by the end of that same day.
Can a BO get the easiest facility for his/her grouped accounts?
No, a BO gets the easiest facility only for the main account, while grouped accounts can only have view rights. A BO can group a maximum of 8 additional BOIDs to his/her login during registration. Upon authentication by the DP, the grouped accounts will be activated, and the user will be able to view the grouped accounts through a single login. What are the benefits of CDSL Easiest to the BO?
The ‘easiest’ platform allows BOs to manage their Demat account transactions online without submitting a Delivery Instruction Slip (DIS) to their Depository Participant (DP). It offers enhanced control, security, and convenience for managing securities. Below are the key benefits and facilities available to BOs:
- - Allows BOs to manage online transactions without submitting a Delivery Instruction Slip (DIS) to their Depository Participant (DP).
  - Enables BOs to freeze their easiest login, either partially or fully.
  - Provides options to freeze specific ISINs or the entire account.
  - Allows freezing of the account for debits, credits, or both.
  - Offers the ability to pledge, confiscate, or un-pledge securities directly online
