Who is a Referral Agent?
A Referrer, Introducer, or Referral Agent is an existing client of Jainam who refers new clients to the company.

Who can become a Referral Agent?
Any person who has an active Unique Client Code (UCC) with Jainam can register as a Referral Agent. Only active clients are eligible.

What can a referral agent do?
The role of the referral agent is strictly limited to referrals only. They are not permitted to:

• Sell or provide advisory services for securities in the secondary market.
• Manage portfolios of referred clients.
• Induce or influence clients to trade.
• All trading decisions and order instructions must come directly from the client.
  

Can a Referral Agent conduct IPV or OSV?
No, a Referral Agent cannot perform In-Person Verification (IPV) or Ocular Signature Verification (OSV).

Will a Referral Agent receive client-related documents or communications?
No, Referral Agents will not receive client correspondence. Documents such as:

• Contract notes
• Daily margin statements
• Account statements will be sent directly to the respective client only.

All client information is kept strictly confidential and cannot be shared with the Referral Agent, except in cases where disclosure is mandated by law or the client provides explicit written permission. All correspondence, including contract notes, daily margin statements, and account statements, will be sent directly to the respective client only.

What happens in case of a dispute regarding the referral scheme?
Jainam is directly and wholly responsible for disputes related to the referral program, incentive sharing, or calculation of referral income. Such disputes do not fall under the purview of the Exchange’s investor protection fund or grievance redressal measures.
