How can an online trading and demat account be opened with Jainam?

An online account with Jainam can be opened by completing the following simple steps: 

  1. Visit the official Jainam website (Jainam website). 

  1. Click on “Open Online Account.” 

  1. Enter the active mobile number and verify it using the OTP. 

  1. Enter the active email ID and complete email OTP verification. 

  1. Provide the PAN number. The name and date of birth are automatically fetched from PAN records. 

  1. Complete identity verification: 

    • Aadhaar is linked with Digi Locker, enter the Aadhaar OTP and Digi Locker 6-digit PIN, click “Allow” and then “Verify.” 

  1. Upload or draw the signature and continue. 

  1. Link the bank account either by scanning the QR code or by entering the IFSC code and account number manually. 

  1. For QR-based verification, scan the QR code and transfer ₹1.00. 

  1. Fill in personal details and proceed. 

  1. Add nominee details, if applicable. 

  1. Select the required trading segments. The equity segment is activated by default. 

  1. Upload income proof from the available options. 

  1. Choose the preferred brokerage plan as per the applicable pricing Jainam Brokerage Plans. 

  1. Complete In-Person Verification (IPV) by capturing a selfie. 

  1. Proceed with E-sign, allow location access, review the form, and confirm. 

  1. Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number to successfully complete the account opening process. 

After successful completion and verification of all steps, the account is taken up for activation.
