What is a Margin Trading Facility (MTF)? |
Margin Trading Facility (MTF) is a facility that allows investors to purchase eligible stocks by paying only a portion of the total purchase value. The remaining amount is funded by Jainam Broking Limited, subject to the applicable MTF terms, conditions, and funding charges. Example: If eligible stocks worth ₹100,000 are purchased under MTF and the applicable margin requirement is 25%, ₹25,000 needs to be maintained as the required margin, while Jainam funds the remaining ₹75,000. Interest is charged on the funded amount at the applicable rate. Important: The applicable margin requirement may vary depending on the stock and its eligibility under the approved MTF stock list. The interest payable depends on the amount funded and the applicable MTF interest rate. Check MTF Eligible Stocks: View the approved MTF stock list.
