What could be the reasons if the client's purchase price is not visible?

The purchase price may not be visible due to the following reasons:

1. The shares were received as a gift.
2. The shares were transferred from another Demat account (off-market or inter-DP transfer).
3. The shares were received due to a merger or demerger of companies.
4. The shares were allotted through an IPO before 2019, where price details might not be captured.
5. The securities are Sovereign Gold Bonds (SGBs) or bonds not purchased from the secondary market.
6. The shares were acquired through a rights issue before 2021, and the purchase price may not have been recorded.
