What is my DP ID, BOID and where can I find my DP ID?


DPID:

  • DP ID is a 16-digit number, where the first 1 to 5 numbers are common for every person. 

BOID

  • Your BO ID (Beneficial Owner Identification Number) is a 16-digit number associated with your Demat account registered with CDSL/NSDL. Each client has a unique BO ID with their stockbroker, where all the delivery stocks are held.
  • The first 8 digits of the BO ID represent the DP ID (Depository Participant ID), and the last 8 digits are the client ID assigned to you.

To locate your DPID, follow the process

  1. log in to JPlus
  2. click on the "Profile Icon," then choose "My Profile."
  3. Select the "My Details" section, 
  4. where you can find your DPID in DP details.
