What is the process of E-DIS?

E-DIS (Electronic Delivery Instruction Slip) is a digital facility that allows investors to authorize the transfer of securities from their Demat account without submitting a physical DIS. 

Process: 

  1. Submit the Add Beneficiary Form along with the CMR copy of the receiver/transferee to Jainam Broking Limited. 

  1. Once the beneficiary is added, log in to JPlus → Comet → Portfolio. 

  1. Select E-Transfer → Off-Market, enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number, and proceed. 

  1. Select the security/script, enter the beneficiary's BOID, select the appropriate transfer reason, and confirm. 

  1. On the CDSL page, enter and verify the T-PIN, followed by the OTP. 

  1. Complete the IPV video verification using the link received on the registered mobile number. 

  1. After successful verification, receive the CDSL confirmation/intimation. 

  1. Verify the beneficiary BOID, security, quantity and transfer reason carefully before confirming the transaction.
