What is a contract note and how can it be downloaded? 

A contract note is an official document issued by the stockbroker that confirms all trades executed on a particular day on the stock exchange. It provides transaction details along with applicable charges. 

How to download a contract note: 

  1. Log in to Jplus 

  1. Click on the Report icon and select Ledger Report 

  1. Choose the desired segment from the dropdown menu 

  1. Select the financial year or use the dropdown to set a custom date range as required 

  1. Click on View Report to see all transactions 

  1. Click on Export and select Contract Note 

  1. Choose Download or Send Email by selecting the respective option 

  1. Click on Download or Send Mail to receive the report

Additional information: 

  • Reports can be downloaded in PDF or Excel format for custom date ranges. 

  • Quick-view options are available for the last 7 days and other predefined periods. 

  • If multiple contract notes are selected, there may be a short delay in receiving the email. The download link is valid for 7 days. Contract notes can be downloaded for a maximum period of 365 days. 

  • Scrip-wise charges are not included. Charges such as AMC, payment gateway fees, DP charges, call and trade fees, and delayed payment charges are excluded.
