How to upgrade from CDSL Easi to CDSL Easiest?

  • If you've created a CDSL Easi login once, then you have to upgrade it to log in to CDSL Easiest as you cannot create a direct login to CDSL Easiest while having a CDSL Easi login.

  • To online upgrade from CDSL Easi to CDSL Easiest, follow these two steps:

  • Step 1: Generate the Easiest registration Form
    1. Visit CDSL login page.
    2. Log in to your CDSL Easi account by providing your username and password.
    3. Click on the 'Miscellaneous tab' and select 'Upgrade BO ID to Easiest.
    4. 'Select the 'account type' from the trusted a/c or account of choice and accept the terms and conditions.To select a suitable account type, see What is the difference between the Trusted Account and the Account of Choice?
    5. Enter the BOID of the demat account to which you want to transfer the securities, provide the OTP, and submit to send an upgrade request to Jainam.
    6. Refresh the CDSL page and select 'print registration form' to download the Easiest registration form.

  • Step 2: Send the Easiest registration form to Jainam: 
    1. Print the form, sign it, and send it to Jainam at the below-given address:
      Jainam House,
      New Passport Office Road, Kargil Chowk,
      Piplod, Surat-395007
    2. The registration form will be verified by Jainam's team and if found proper, then the upgradation to CDSL Easiest will be processed within a working day.
