How to Apply for a Buyback through Jainam Assist ?

Process to Apply for a Buyback through Jainam Assist :

  1. Log in to Jainam Assist.
  2. Go to Invest and select Corporate Action.
  3. Select the desired script and click Apply.
  4. Enter the Client Code and press the Tab key to fetch the required details.
  5. Enter the eligible quantity and select the required checkbox.
  6. Click Submit to process the buyback request.

Important:

  • Clients can apply for a buyback only if they hold the respective securities in their Demat account as on the record date.
  • Only free shares are eligible for buyback. Pledged shares cannot be tendered.
  • Pledged securities must be released/unpledged before applying for the buyback.
  • If DDPI is not active, the client needs to fill out the DIS (Delivery Instruction Slip) and submit it to the Head Office (HO).
  • Ensure that the transferee's name is added as the beneficiary before submitting the DIS.
